Job Description: Venture Capital and Startups Analyst

The £50 membership fee (divided into two installments of £25) supports the costs of our website, software tools, and the courses and training provided at The IBC.

As a Venture Capital and Startups Analyst at The Investment Banking Club (IBC), you will play a critical role in advancing our mission by researching and analyzing the dynamic world of startups and venture capital. Your work will focus on evaluating funding rounds, investment trends, and the entrepreneurial ecosystem. You will produce comprehensive reports on early-stage growth companies, assess market opportunities, and identify emerging industry leaders and innovations.

Working closely with mentors and team leads, you will enhance your research and analytical skills while gaining insights into the rapidly evolving venture capital landscape. The role provides opportunities to collaborate on diverse projects with peers, helping you develop a broad understanding of startup ecosystems, funding mechanisms, and investor strategies.

This position requires strong attention to detail, creative problem-solving, and effective communication skills. You will be expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain the highest standards of quality. A passion for entrepreneurship, innovation, and financial research, along with a commitment to professional development, is essential in this fast-paced and exciting environment.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in any discipline.
