What are the stages of the application?The application process is limited to completing the form and submitting a CV. After that, if successful, you will be contacted for an interview.

How does the program at The IBC work?Upon successful recruitment, you will join The Investment Banking Club as an Analyst for the next 3 months. The program is divided into two phases: Phase 1: Self-Paced Training (1 Month) In the first month, you will have access to our dedicated portal on the website, where you can explore and learn from our comprehensive Investment Banking modules. This self-paced training is designed to provide you with a strong foundation in the core areas of investment banking. Phase 2: Research and Analysis (2 Months) After the initial training, you will be assigned a mentor who will guide you through the research and analysis phase. Over the next two months, you will work on analyzing the latest trends in Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity, Global Markets, and Venture Capital & Startups. This phase emphasizes practical application, enabling you to sharpen your analytical skills and gain hands-on experience in financial research.

What does the learning month entail?If your application is successful, you will be inducted as an IBC Member. This status grants you access to our comprehensive repository of shared drive documents and specialized learning modules. The program is meticulously structured to onboard you over the first month in a self-paced format. You will be required to thoroughly review over 150 Investment Banking documents, which will provide a solid foundation in the key activities you will engage in following this initial period.

Who is eligible to apply to The Investment Banking Club?Any student or recent graduate who is eager to learn, gain experience, and contribute value to our organization.

Are graduates/recent graduates open to the programme?Yes! The programme is open for undergraduates, masters, PhD students and recent graduates.

Is there a prefered academic background?The IBC does not prefer recruiting students from a specific academic background. At the online application stage, The IBC focuses on the competencies and skills that are relayed across in past educational, work and extra-curricular experiences that are important to shaping a strong analyst.
